Business name change
Hello, Friends! Starting a refresh with my business… Rustic Bloom Photography has been so good to me, I have just been wanting to make the name switch for awhile now so I figured I’d just move forward with it already! This means a million SEO changes and all that back end stuff, so bear with me…but it’ll be so nice to just be able to introduce myself from now on.
This past year-ish
I’ve not been the best business owner this past year or so. Honestly, life got kinda hard and overwhelming. Inquiries seemed to trickle in, or I was constantly getting requests for mini sessions, discounts, or “just a couple photos”. Add some personal life stuff in the mix, and bam… I fell in to kind if a sad space in my head. I neglected my inbox (so if you messaged me and haven’t heard back, I’m truly sorry), contemplated giving this business I’ve worked so hard on up, and am trying hard everyday to come out of it. I first recognized that I needed to get up and interact… so I got a part time job at my favorite coffee shop in the world (Salt is pure sunshine in my life) and that’s been a bit of a saving grace for me. I also knew I wanted to finally shift the name of my business which has kept me glued to this website remodel, and that I wanted to simplify my pricing and offerings. So while my mindset is starting to come back to life, I am feeling hopeful for the upcoming photo season.
Sessions and Pricing
I’ve attended all the workshops, purchased the photography pricing structure guides, gained insight from other friends in the photography world… and have come to realize that I am just a simple kinda human who doesn’t want to offer 13 different packages and options. I have narrowed down my session pricing to single packages that are straight forward without extra this or extra that.
-Elopements and Micro weddings are simple and start with minimum coverage/price and the option to add on hourly coverage as you see fit.
-Portraits/ Senior sessions also have 1 option just to keep things simple and transparent.
Discounts and Mini Sessions
With the time and energy that goes into shooting/editing, plus back end business expenses, and the time and events I miss out on with my family, as well as the cost of living these days… I just can’t offer discounts or mini sessions at this time.

Sincerely, thank you to everyone who continues to encourage and show me love through this up and down season in my life. And a big apology to those I missed out on working with. It wouldn’t have been fair of me to not offer the best version of myself/ photo session experience, and responding to emails to explain that just became overwhelming and I just froze.
